The Season 1 NA Rivals 2 Rankings are finally here! After each season we look back on the previous competitive year, and the players who influenced our scene, by creating a Top 50 Players list to honor and celebrate our greatest competitors. Last season was a very long one and going through all the data from the hundreds of competitors we had took even longer! What an intense season with some of our largest events yet both online and offline. Let us know which event was your favorite to attend or watch 🙂
Panelists: Coach Zeke, Pixiegangstereo, Nbad, Cyberhex, MSB, SBS
Writing: Coach Zeke
Before we jump into the list, we have some players to recognize as Hidden Bosses. Players given this title were recognized by the panel as major threats to tournaments this season that just didn’t quite meet the requirements to be ranked. As a reminder, here were the requirements to qualify for Top 50 consideration last year: A minimum of three (3) total Official R2CS events, with two (2) of them consisting of LAN tournaments.
Once players passed the bar for participation, weights were also considered as previously announced:
- The Genesis X3 and EVO 2025 carried the highest weight.
- Other LAN events were considered in the next group, with order within this tier being determined based on entrant count and overall strength.
- Online events were considered with the lowest weight overall, with entrant count and strength ordering them within this tier.
Hidden Bosses
- Archangel
- Asashi
- Mr. Nice Guy
- Mr. R
- Plup
- Remrin
- Sago
- Torna
Without further ado, here is day 1 of the NA R2CS Top 50!
50. Lucius

The Rat (Frog) of the East. One of the most patient creatures we’ve ever seen in the Aetherverse. If he gets a stock lead, you better have a good song playing, because it’s gonna take a while for you to get your turn back.
49. Re:Cupid

He may call himself a TO, but Re:Cupid has some of the most insane upsets in the entire season. Having wins over Boiko and others guaranteed him this spot on the list. While he may not have super high placements, he is a name to be feared in any bracket. Be careful not to become the next victim of what many of us know as Re:Champion.
48. Teri

Teri comfortably solidified themselves as one of the strongest Olympias in the season. Having very strong wins on notable players like Humanlime, AppleWiz, Mr.R, and Animal really showed us all what Olympia was capable of and set the pace for others to come. Everyone is excited to see how Teri grows, and hopefully we get to see them at more offline events in this upcoming season!
47. Sawstep

From the Fleet brigade of the West, Sawstep makes it onto this season’s list. With wins on Nurse, Re:Cupid, maya, CD, and Pikmon, Sawstep very comfortably guaranteed their spot on this season’s list and is definitely looking to be even higher in the near future. With how nice of a guy he is, you’d be surprised to see how aggressive he really is as a player. Be careful whenever you find him in bracket!
46. McDuckerz

THE FIGHTSTICK WARRIOR. You read that right, she plays on a FIGHT STICK. No right stick, no extra buttons, all good vibes. She may be one of the scariestpeople to find in bracket, because when you see the contraption she slaps down when you are about to play, it really makes it feel like you are the one with everything to lose. One of the most unique Ranno players in the season, nobody jabs like her. Whatever you do, though, don’t fall for her fake wake up button! Pray you never have to hear her controller hit a down tilt RAR back air; you will not get to keep that stock, I promise.
45. humanlime

Humanlime is one of the scariest online warriors to exist in our scene. Starting the season off with wins on Bbatts, toothbrush, CheesyPotato, and many more showed us one very important thing: this guy ONLY plays good characters. He’s gottenwins using Wrastor, Orcane, and Olympia, and god only knows what character is coming next…
44. maya

The slippery maya missile cannot be avoided. Nobody combos into Orcane side special the way maya does. If you think Orcane can’t finish a combo, you better study up and see the way maya has been cooking. Nobody does it like her, and she is going to definitely be one of our strongest warriors for the character in this upcoming season.
43. Phantom

The legendary Sandstorm slayer. Phantom really found his stride late into this season and got so many wins so quickly, and he showed the world what Galvan could really do at LMBM 2026. Having wins on Sandstorm, Torna, Toothbrush, and even Boiko really solidified his position on this list. Once Phantom is having fun, you better watch out, or you’ll end up in the next clip.
42. darai

darai has really shown the world what it is like to be a learner. Being the strongest Rivals 1 Ranno to transfer into this game, he really ended this season strong, dominating not only his home region, but also many online events. Having a handful of wins on players like SaintPat, Zhime, Teri, and even Beastly, he showed how high he can reach. The next step for him is now pushing through deeper parts of brackets. Once he does that consistently, he is going to be one of the strongest threats this game has ever seen.
41. SaintPat

The old Rivals 1 legend himself, SaintPat finally broke into a Top 8 this year at Heat Wave 8, clinching wins on Landon and Bowler to get there. However, he showed himself to be a real demon online, catching wins on Torna, Z_hime, adam, and many more. This old dog can learn new tricks, so watch yourself, because if he gets you in a Kargo grab, it’s lights out.
