Aether Studios is looking for a Unreal Tools Engineer that can bridge the gap between the art and programming teams to improve the implementation of art assets into our games. Role Responsibilities

  • Work with artist and engineers to facilitate tools making the art pipeline as smooth as possible
  • Document best practices and instructions for implementing art in the game engine
  • Optimize assets to meet platform requirements
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to produce engine tools that benefit the team and project 

Role Qualifications

  • Experience creating tools in Unreal Engine 4
  • Portfolio including code and work with artists
  • Experience working on a software development project

Role Preferences

  • Interests in the fighting game genre
  • Interests in both the art and programming aspects of game development
